JAJABEE

*before you say anything yes I know there's a typo in the heading
For snack lovers, particularly crisp lovers like myself you're in for a real treat!
Calbee have released a new type called Jagabee, which are crisps designed to look and taste like chips, but aren't chips. They are different, and something to experience, but I personally find them a little salty and harsh on the throat, but they do their job of looking and tasting like chips! Oil factor / health factor I'm not too sure of which is better out of crisps / chips, but I know one thing for certain...
They're both potato.

What is christmas?

Traditionally, it's the celebration of God's son's (before you close this screen no it's not a bible lecture) birthday.
Today, arguably this holiday is exclusive to those who believe in Christianity, but it's become a holiday to which a majority of people celebrate.
As a child, Christmas was about gifts, presents, and people are lead to 'think' that 'christmas spirit' is about giving. Especially with the whole story of the Christmas Carol, but is it really?
This 'need' to give causes headaches, dents in wallets, grief, and hectic christmas shopping sprees, rush hours. All in the name of 'giving'?
'Giving' is sharing your love, care, and appreciation to someone. When people say the 'spirit' of Christmas is about 'giving' I say they're not only wrong, but they're also shallow, greedy, and materialistic.
Christmas is about togetherness
Have a merry one x

Humans are animals.

Just a minor observation, it just seems like all people are interested in is about social issues.

Is (s)he single?
Who do (s)he like?
How are ?
What is (s)he doing?
Where is (s)he going?
Why did they breakup?
Why are they together?
There's an argument? What about? How? Why?

To be honest all this 'gossip', what does it do to you? Do you really have their best intentions at heart? Or are you just wanting to know to fill your boring life? Arrogant enough to look at someone else's low points so you can feel better about yourself?

there's some brain vomit for ya

'單條'

獨男獨女:
Love is like the lottery.

Sometimes you win some; sometimes you loose some. Some tickets may win you £5, others may be a jackpot, and the rest fall variously between. You don't know if it's a winning ticket when you buy it, but you had all your' hope in it from the beginning. Now hope; is the downfall. This expectation for the jackpot (the stereotypical perfect man), when in true fact many people are happy and satisfied with something 'worth' far less.

Chin up, what will your next ticket be?

Day 20.

Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name.

The whole url, is a play on words I suppose.

'Peace of Kae'
sounds like
'Piece of pie'

An english(?) saying for something to be at ease, I suppose after blog "ranting" I feel more at ease to problems or issues in question, to which is why I changed the 'piece' for 'Peace'
The "Piece" part specifically relates to how - unlike my previous blogs - I don't want the issues to be over personal that way others can still relate and the blogs are less biased, I also set out for the blog to be more topic specific therefore expressing a 'Piece' of me - which is where I switched up the 'pie' for the phonetics of my initials 'KY'
creative - huh?

LOL.

男人/男仔?

Something about the male species, before I start I am in no means an expert of this field and neither will I ever be, this is just recent experience of a select few but someone seems to be a trending pattern of boys/men of 2010. Which leads me onto my latest statement:

Is it me or are the guys completely oblivious to a girls thoughts and feelings even when they bluntly blurt them out (as much as they may hate doing it) to be able to cut them deeply when they feel the most vulnerable. But it doesn't stop there - talk about kicking someone when they're down. They go ahead without leaving any time to heal and put salt on the wound by seeing if they're o.k. and that they miss them - but don't intend on acting upon it.

This is why men are from mars.
Stupid hot headed planet

Day 14 – A TV show you're currently addicted to.

Monday, 13 December 2010

Day 13.

Day 13 – Your favourite musician and why.

Wow, this is a hard one, I've never really considered a singular musician to be my all time favourite... To that fact I've never immensely been a 'fan' of anyone to that sort, if you were to idolise someone you were to be following in their footsteps and I personally, like to make my own (as pretentious as that sounds) figuratively speaking I like to be my own, with influences from other sources. I digress, my favourite musician award goes to:
Yiruma
His music really knows how to pull on the heart strings

Santa's dead.

I do apologise for the saddening maybe even mundane title to said blog post. Maybe it's my negative outlook to life as of recent, but has anyone else noticed how the spirit of Christmas is dying?

There's the usual hustle and bustle to bear gifts in the malls, but around me it just doesn't feel like anybody cares too much about Christmas, and no - it's not about the gifts, it's the togetherness Christmas brings. But even when you do look at the gifts they're half assed "vouchers" to shops to go spend yourself in. Presents are for the children, but if you're not even going to buy something as a present for them to open and play with on Christmas day than to a child - you might as well not bother. But even to a full grown adult knowing you couldn't even bother to think of them at this time makes them start to think, how much do you think of them at all?

Which brings me to the second point, the amount of people that I've heard their parents ask them: "Are you coming home? Don't worry if you're not." Sorry? Don't worry? It's not like people come home often, and who or where else are they going to spend Christmas with when at this time of year it's to be spent with loved ones? Furthermore, if you didn't mind if they were there or not this celebratory season does that mean you don't consider them a loved one?

Call me traditional, but I guess yes when I was young I loved the presents and food, but now I just long for it to be like it used to be, when we all came together had a meal, the parents shared their banter, the kids ran around. How are you spending Christmas?

Have a Merry one guys x

Day 11.

Day 11 – What's in your make-up bag.

2. Black Shadow
3. Shimmery White Shadow
4. Concealer
5. White Eyeliner
6. Black Eyeliner - can be pencil, liquid or gel
7. Mascara
I do wear other make up but with things like blush and bronzer I can take out and swap / use as I please, these are in almost every look

Tuesday, 7 December 2010

Day 7.

Day 7 – Your dream wedding.

Excuse me if I'm still a little concussed from my illness / fainting but I'm trying. I digress - here's the juice. ( I had to steal images from my cousins wedding because I just can't use google search in my state of mind) - yes I know she's beautiful :(

I'm a little greedy, I'd like the best of both, in my eyes are equally as beautiful... my dream wedding would have a british ceremony, that beautiful white puffy dress, ring bearers walking down the isle of some gorgeous church / courtyard / park

but also the chinese side, "picking up the bride" - i don't know how this links to the english tradition of not seeing the bride till the alter but this is al hypothetical anyway but dinner with all the family and all the fun and games you get at a typical chinese wedding - i state this now I WILL NOT PULL A BANANA THROUGH MY FUTURES TROUSERS FROM ONE LEG TO THE OTHER WHILE HE'S WEARING THEM! - OR AN EGG - OR ANYTHING.

Monday, 6 December 2010

Day 6.

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you'd love to keep as a pet.

so dont fuck with me
